I love the way rain changes and distorts the world, softening lines and colours, washing away outlines, rendering shapes in generalisations and approximations…
It’s raining here at the moment. I love the smell of those first drops as they settle the dust. I love the sound of it drumming against the tin roof of our garage. I love the rain because it eases my mind and relaxes me and makes me smile. And I love the more subtle colors of the world when heavy clouds fill the sky.
…others just get wet.
